about Balloon Trips

In this fantastical scene depicting dozens of hot-air balloons filling the sky, Jack Hofflander showcases his childlike imagination and mastery of landscape painting.

Flying high through the air, balloon baskets filled with people embracing, talking, or just enjoying the view dominate the sky above the quaint landscape of rolling hills and tilled fields below.

About The Medium: Screenprint

A stencil process employing a frame on which silk or synthetic fabric is stretched. Stencils are hand-drawn or hand-cut and placed on the stretched fabric and act as a block out when the ink passes through the screen by means of a squeegee onto the paper, the non-stencil areas create the image. Also known as silkscreen or serigraph.
