Alberto Giacometti was a Swiss artist best known for his gaunt bronze sculptures.

This piece - an etching produced in 1959 - depicts two similarly-shaped figures posed as the lovers from the opera Tristan and Isolde. The work comes from the collection of the late Larry Saphire.
