Alberto Magnelli
Italian Futurist painter. He studied Cubism in Paris in 1913 - 14 but later turned to abstraction, influenced by Pittura Metafisica. From 1933 he lived in Paris, painting abstracts and became a member of Abstraction-Creation. After the war he became prominent in the production of structured abstract painting with outlined geometrical forms, when Art informel was prevalent. Lithograph
A print created using flat stones or metal plates. The artist creates a lithograph by drawing an image directly onto the printing element using materials like lithograph crayons or special grease pencils. After this, the drawing is transferred from the plate to the paper in multiples. A lithograph will not have dots when examined with a magnifying glass.
