About The Artist: Amos Yaskil

Amos Yaskil was born in Haifa, Israel in 1935 to a German mother and Polish father, Abraham Yaskil. At the age of 10, he began painting in a "wholly adult style," recognized by the artworld as sensational. The author Arnold Zweig, having noticed his talent, interviewed Amos at length for a British newspaper.
