About the artist:

Attracted since childhood by the visual arts, he entered the Applied Arts. Subsequently, he earned his living in different workshops for decoration fabrics, silks and wallpapers. André Duranton mobilized during the war in a factory, but resumed his artistic activity at the end of the conflict.
