Antonio Sereix was born in Puigmotto, Spain in 1931. In 1945, Sereix began his studies at the Academy of Bellas Artes in Barcelona. By 1959, he had his first solo exhibition in Havana, Cuba, and grom there made his way to Miami, FL and Beveryly Hills, CA where he exhibited his portrait work. Over the course of several decades, Sereix exhibited throughout the United States and Europe. It is clear that Sereix has been inspired by the various forms and colors of Puigmotto, where he was born, and has indeed captured its essence in his own unique style. Sereix displays a unique versatility in his art while maintaining a consistent presentation of composition and form. Having worked with both oil painting and lithography, Sereix has mastered his signature mosaic style, which continues to delight viewers everywhere.
