Athos Zacharias
Born in Massachusetts in 1927, Zacharias arrived in New York in 1956 and joined the downtown art scene. Through the 60′s he was part of the Tenth Street Cooperative Gallery Movement, showing in collective and one-man shows. He also assisted many notable artist including Willem de Kooning.
