L’Homme au nez cassé or "Man with Broken Nose" is a sculpture in bronze by the artist Auguste Rodin.
The original casts of this sculpture were first poured between 1864 and 1865. Original and later editions are prized parts of major collections around the world. The figure depicted is an older man with a short beard, staring wearily out into the distance. His nose, as described in the title, is broken at the bridge and smashed off to the left of his face. This work is referenced in several catalogues, such as Le Normand-Romain, II, 415; Grappe 3; Elsen 106; and Goldscheider 13a. A signature and foundry mark are stamped on the interior verso.
