Settled along the hillside, Carol Ann Shelton's buildings are rendered flat as they overlap one another, creating depth without the use of perspective and relying only on the use of overlapping shapes.

About The Artist: Carol Ann Shelton

Born in Canada and moved to London in 1981 Studied at the University of Western Ontario to obtain a BA degree in Visual Arts. Works have been exhibited at numerous gallery exhibitions, including the London Regional Art Gallery, and the Art of St. Thomas-Elgin. The stylistic expression of landscapes in her rural work often include pastoral, or rural settings reflecting her love for the country environment....

The artist creates a lithograph by drawing an image directly onto the printing element using materials like lithograph crayons or special grease pencils.
