about Blanket Signals

Duane Bryers's depiction of two Native American men on horseback, armed with rifles, is a fine example of his work portraying the American West.

Poised on top of a rocky outcrop, the man at the center holds his blanket up into the wind to catch the eye and send a message to another of his men across the land. Filled with energy and a sense of anticipation, the two men represent the iconic aura of the Wild West.
