About The Artist: Eliot Candee Clark

Eliot Candee Clark was the son of American artist Walter Clark and Jennie Woodruff Clark. Initially influenced by the tonalists, he came to develop a unique style of impressionism. Eliot grew up painting under the guidance of his father, practicing out-of-doors, using pastel and watercolor.
