Overlooking the dunes of Ogunquit beach from the curving street that rus parallel to it, Eve Nethercott's view of the ocean is peaceful and contemplative.

With no figures in sight and only a few houses nearby, the scene appears empty and isolated, perhaps due to the overcast sky.

Eve Nethercott is an American watercolor artist born in 1925. Nethercott painted with fluid lines and a impressonist style. Nethercott likely spent her life travelling the east coast and living in Maine. A fascination for watercolors, and teaching the others how to paint out of her home. She favors scenes of Maine, New York City, Portraits and Seascapes. Eve Nethercott passed away in 2015....
