Lining the street, Eve Nethercott's depiction of two 19th-century townhouses is quaint and peaceful.

Reminiscent of any sleepy town found in New England, the close proximity of the buildings to the street and the brick walkway before them insinuates the close-knit community and cultural history of the area.

About The Artist: Eve Nethercott

Eve Nethercott is an American watercolor artist born in 1925. Nethercott painted with fluid lines and a impressonist style. Nethercott likely spent her life travelling the east coast and living in Maine. A fascination for watercolors, and teaching the others how to paint out of her home. She favors scenes of Maine, New York City, Portraits and Seascapes. Eve Nethercott passed away in 2015....
