About the artist:

The painter Fr. Lund, (self-taught) born in Aalborg in September 1893, a painter who works meticulously even in details, with a distinctly festive and lyrical sense of colour, which is particularly evident in all his southern pictures. Also masters and executes almost every choice of motif with equal care and skill, and has successfully executed many orders. He has taken part in several exhibitions and always with laudatory and appreciative press coverage.
