About the artist:

Ojeda, who possessed his own style since his beginnings in the study of art, developed fundamental qualities in the work of painter in both technique and subject matter. At the age of thirteen he was already enrolled in the National School of Plastic Arts, showing his teachers intuition to imitate and reinvent nature. In 1951 he studied at the Plastic Materials Workshop of the National Polytechnic Institute, where he became acquainted with the use of acrylic.
