Gérard Titus-Carmel was born in Paris on 10 October 1942, is a painter, printmaker, French poet and essayist. He illustrated many works of poets and writers, and he himself ever published thirty books, essays on art and poetry. Gérard Titus-Carmel lives and works in Oulchy-le-Château, in the Aisne.
