Watercolorist Harold Wallerstein combines still life and geometric abstraction in this original work from the early 1990s.
The geometric lines are behind the opaque objects while still maintaining a sense of realism in the still life at the center. Wallerstein emigrated from Germany to the United States in 1936. His artwork is influenced by Edwin Dickinson - a painting instructor, Ben-Zion, and Gwathmy and his international travels.
