ARTIST’S STATEMENT I work almost exclusively from memory and imagination, as this is where I wish to connect with the viewer. I consider the initial idea, the process of creation, and the finished object to be of equal value. I also consider myself to be a painter of ideas as well as images, and I strive to create images that stay with the viewer, long after the work is put aside.
