About The Artist: Jay Phillips

Jay Phillips' paintings, sculptures and silkscreen prints are all comprised of gestural brushstrokes with a striped, hard-edged sensibility and clean, geometric patterns against flowing, spontaneous landscapes. Phillips cut and folded his materials to form overlaps and projections.
