About the artist:

Jeanin Kostia-Blancheteau was born in 1928 in Germany. Self-taught, Jeanin was attracted to art at a very early age. She moved to Paris in the early 1950s to work as an artist and quickly made a name for herself. She participated in several Parisian salons and her works are present in many private international collections. She exhibited in Japan, Canada, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the United States, Sweden, and France. She died in 2013 in the Paris Region.
