errold Davis studied at the University of California, Berkeley receiving his B.A. in 1952 and M.A. in 1953. Davis was a lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley from 1954-55 and during the Summer of 1967. He also did museum lectures as part of the Ford Foundation, A.F.A. artist in residence program, Flint, Michigan in 1964.
