about Indian Country

John Duillo's depiction of two cowboys on horseback at the edge of a waterfall is full of energy and anticipation.

Turning to his right, one of the cowboys points his gun loosely with his right arm while the other cowboy turns to see what the commotion is. Seemingly out of breath and in serious danger, both men appear to have been chased by an unknown assailant, presumably Native Americans.
