This painting by John Naber, the Olympian swimmer, was created in 1980 for a charity event.
Although it is an abstract work, we can see here that he has replicated a lane in a pool, with his feet mark at the far left, giving the feeling of someone having just jumped into the water, with the white and the dark blue creating the look of water being stirred up, making bubbles.
