Judith Stoddard King attended the Bancroft School in Worcester, Massachusetts, and graduated from Hollins University in Virginia with a degree in Art History. While King studied decoupage at the Hiram Manning studio in Boston in the 1960s, she began constructing collages and designing posters and cards using cut paper. King's work is colorful, meticulous, and evocative of the spirit of the spaces they represent. Her attention to detail evokes great elegance, restraint, and beauty. King is also a Trustee Emeritus of the Worcester Art Museum.
