La'Roy Fleming, also known as LeRoy Fleming and La Roy Fleming and Le Roy Fleming designed record labels for the most popular American soul artists in the 1970s. La'Roy also was a musician in a few of these bands doing back up instrumentation and vocals. His paintings represent his thoughts and feelings towards city life and have a great pop art feel to them.
