Leonard Koscianski is a Postmodern American painter, who identifies his style as a blend of Surrealism, American Primitivism, and American Scene painting. At first glance, his exquisitely detailed scenes of rural and suburban landscapes appear to depict everyday occurrences; however, a bit of mystery lurks within each of Koscianski’s compositions, revealing a hidden psychologically charged world that lies just below the surface.
