About The Artist: Lou Zansky

Little is known about the American comic artist Louis Zansky. He drew three issues in the Classics Illustrated series in the early 1940s (then still called Classic Comics). His work for this collection contained comics adaptations of Herman Melville's 'Moby Dick' (1942), Miguel de Cervantes's 'Don Quichote' (1943), 'Sherlock Holmes and the Hound of the Baskervilles' and James Fenimore Cooper's 'The Deerslayer' (1944) and some cover art.
