About the artist:
Lu Fang is a printmaker who was born in Kunshan County, Jiangsu Province. In 1960, he graduated from the Huadong Branch of Central Academy of Fine Arts (later named China Academy of Art); later teaching there as well. He is a minimalist Zen-style print maker who depicts serene Chinese landscapes and waterscapes.
