about Adam and Eve banished from the Garden of Eden from Drawings for the Bible

Marc Chagall (Russian/French, 1887-1985), took a trip in 1931 to the Holy Land, which shook his perspective, spiritually and creatively.

In 1960 he created Drawings from the Bible, consisting of 24 color lithographs illustrative carious scenes from the Bible. Adam and Eve are depicted here being banished from the garden of Eden by perhaps the Archangel Michael.
