About the artist:

As well as being an accredited orchid judge, Marion Sheehan was an Honorary Life Member of the American Orchid Society. She served on various committees of the the A.O.S. as chairman and co-chairman. Together with Tom Sheehan she produced a bi-monthly column on orchid genera, which was a popular feature of the American Orchid Society Bulletin for over 25 years.
