About the artist:

Maruschka Tenzer was born in Russia in 1937. During WWII, she spent time in Poland, Germany, and American DP camps. She then immigrated to Buenos Aires, where she became a ballerina at Teatro Colón. After coming to the US, she started exercise studios in NYC. She was also a superb professional artist whose paintings are on exhibit throughout the US.
