Maxine Shattuck
Maxine Shattuck, American (1906 - 2002) studied as a young woman in Paris at the Grand Chaumiere with Andre L'Hote and at the Sorbonne. Returning to New York she studied at the Art Student's League and at Yale University. In the early fifties, she moved to Miami to strike out on her own and to build an art career.
