Noel Daggett’s portrayal of a street bordering a saloon features a ground hitched horse and a cowboy reclining in a wooden chair.

Leaning back and balancing on the hind legs of the chair, the cowboy looks down at his hands as he rolls either a cigar or cigarette. Plastered across the wall between the Mission-style doorways, large signs of alcohol bottles indicate the wares sold within the building.

About The Artist: Noel Daggett

Noel Daggett’s belief that there is a “universal motivation to life” is not only reflected by his personal action but through his brilliantly vibrant canvases. Born in Phoenix, Arizona, the family later moved to San Francisco where Daggett began his painting career. Motivation, talent, energy led him to a scholarship at the California School of Fine Arts. About The Medium: Lithograph

A print created using flat stones or metal plates. The artist creates a lithograph by drawing an image directly onto the printing element using materials like lithograph crayons or special grease pencils. After this, the drawing is transferred from the plate to the paper in multiples. A lithograph will not have dots when examined with a magnifying glass.
