Flattened into a series of geometric planes, this portrayal of a violin adheres to the early tenents of Cubism in which Pablo Picasso explored the dimensional relationship of objects by reducing them to shapes and focusing on their intrinsic value rather than their value within a larger entity.
Lithograph on smooth wove paper published between the years 1979-1982 in an edition of 1000 by the Estate of Picasso (Marina Picasso) with approved Picasso signature printed below image.
