about Liberty Suite (I, II, III)

Most Pop Artists explore symbols of Americana in their practice, and for Peter Max, one of the greatest symbols for him to revisit time and time again was the Statue of Liberty.

This set of three framed lithographs of the face of the statue show the color variations with which Max would approach his subjects. Each piece is signed and numbered in pencil and also include a metal plaque.
