About the artist:

Raf Mizin is a relatively unknown Ukrainian artist. Mizin has been an invalid from birth with only a partial command of his hands and arms. But he always dreamed of becoming a painter and over the course of several years of hard work had managed to train himself in drawing and painting. He has always been a hermit; never spoke about or showed his work to anyone except myself. I've been his only friend for the past half-century.

Lately, with the advent of this horrible war in Ukraine, Raf has decided to step out of his shell and try to do all he can to help Ukraine in its heroic fight. He created a number of new works that he hopes to sell and will give all the money to Ukrainian charitable funds. He doesn't want anything for himself, just to help in his small way - the only one available to him. These days the donation will be split between Ukrainian and Israeli charities.
