About The Artist: Rex Flood

Rex Flood (1928-2009) was an aviation and wildlife artist. He ws in the RAF for 22 years at Coltishall in Norfolk, where he painted the emblem of 74 Squadron, a tiger's head, on the side of aircraft. He also painted aircraft and 6 of his paintings were purchased by the RAF Club in Piccadilly. RAF Cranwell also commissioned another 10 in 1969, before he left the Service.
