About the artist:
Robin Hiers paints a vibe that is Beach Girl Chic with a slight twist of vintage pop. She is influenced by her life in California - mixed with her obsession with the Jetset Life of the sixties and seventies. She is currently in her "Bikini & Champagne" era, celebrating the Joi de vive of Laguna Beach - where she can be found painting at LGOCA gallery or sipping a glass of bubbly at The Deck. She comes from a family of artists, and is simply doing what she was born to do. She is excited to share her world with all of the kindred spirits of the world, who believe that life is meant to be enjoyed "Love Your Life" is her motto. After raising three amazing children, Robin now devotes her time to her career as well as local charitable organizations. She is the featured artist participating at the Sip and Shuck Event at The Deck, which hosts a different charity every year. She also donates a painted board to Surfers Healing, on display at the Ritz Carlton every December. Her passion project is donating art to the JDRFOC - because of the fact that her artist daughter Ali Rybczyk has been Type 1 since age 4. When people ask her why her art is so happy, she explains it this way. “ I paint the life that’s lived here in South Orange County. It’s also the life in other coastal towns, where boating and beaching are a way of life. I love being surrounded by beauty and to me - this is the epitome of a very aesthetically pleasing lifestyle.” On another note, her illustrative style is a nod to a simpler time. The advertising and fashion style will remind you of a simpler time - an old movie, an ad, or simply a memory of a way of life that the artist loves.
