About the artist:

Born in a small Minnesota town and transplanted to southern California at the age of seven, Rodell C. Johnson wanted to be a sports writer and cartoonist when he grew up. Rodell then joined Walt Disney Studios, and was involved in the animation of such classics as “Snow White and the Seven Dwarves,” “Pinocchio,” “Fantasia,” “Bambi,” “Dumbo,” and various Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck shorts. Rodell has exhibited in the American Watercolor Society Annual Exhibition, The Allied Artists of American Annual Exhibition, The New Jersey Water Color Society of Annual Exhibition, plus many other prestigious showings. More of his work can be found in private collections throughout the country.
