Spanish (1904–1989)
Salvador Dalí (Spanish, 1904-1989) created this relief after his painting titled "Gala Contemplating the Mediterranean Sea".
Through Dali’s abstracted image, we see the form of his beloved wife Gala, her dark hair creating Lincoln’s left eye. This is a silver-plated bronze bas relief, backed by felt, with an embossed signature and number inscribed. Published by Martin Lawrence Ltd. Editions, Van Nuys, California.
