Samuel Mirsky
Born in Odessa, Russia in 1883, he became predominantly a portrait painter and studied at the Art Student's League in New York City. Mirsky did minature portraits as well as full size portraits. His household in New York included daughters Eda Mann and Kitty Brandfield, both also painters. He has three granddaughters, including Erica Jong, the famous writer....
