About The Artist: Susan Gerstein

"Born in 1940 in Hungary, I have lived and worked in New York for many years. From 1985 to 2000 I had been an active member of Gallery 84 on West 57th Street until it ceased functioning due to the illness of the director. During this period I had several solo shows at Gallery 84 and elsewhere, and partook in several group exhibits in various parts of the country.
