Theodore Jeremenko's rendering of an antique lighthouse along the coastline of either an island or peninsula is a classic example of New England and Mid-Atlantic lighthouses built between the 18th-20th centuries.
Situated adjacent to the keeper's house, the lighthouse is unlit even though it is nearly five stories tall and would have been incredibly useful for the surrounding marine traffic.
