The print was intended for a portfolio of three Cuban artists (Lam, Mariano and Portocarrero) which was to be published by Robert Altmann in 1947. Only about 10 were printed by Alfred Jones in New York City. This example was signed and dedicated to Larry Saphire "with my sympathy" in 1975.
