Willy Rieser

Swiss (1927)

About the artist:

Willy Rieser: "My work is expressively abstract and always based on a motif, so figuratively. I paint people, portraits, still lifes and landscapes; basically everything that fascinates me, at my own choice. My material is oil paint, watercolor, ink and chalk For a number of years I have drawn a lot on stage during theater, opera and ballet performances, and I prefer to paint landscapes in the region between Katwijk and Noordwijkerhout, in Provence (southern France), Jura and Wallis (Switzerland) and in Israel."
