WP Eberhard Eggers, full name Wilhelm Paul Eberhard Eggers (born January 14, 1939 in Hanover, † August 8, 2004), was a German graphic artist, painter, sculptor and Mason. Artistically, he was considered a representative of modern fantastic realism, whose works are characterized mainly by their abundance of images Mannerist. Born in the first year of the Second World War in Hanover, Wilhelm Paul Eberhard Eggers grew up in Linden. He also traveled through the US several times and gave a guest session at the University of South Dakota. In 1987 WP Eberhard Eggers was admitted to the Freemason Lodge Friedrich the White Horse. He was married to Heike Eggers, the marriage produced two daughters. The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York has two etchings, Eggers has twice participated in group exhibitions at MoMA, most recently Fantastic Prints (1997). A triptych can be found in the Logenhaus Heiligengeiststraße in Hannover. Posthumously, the graphic work of WP Eberhard Eggers received more than 800 works from the period 1961 to 2004 through a donation to the City of Hannover in 2005.
